Sad news
Simon had to be put to sleep yesterday. He’s been suffering for months, without much relief (he was getting shots once a week that were costing my parents hundreds of dollars, and would make him feel okay that day and maybe the next… but then he’d be sick the rest of the week) and my parents and the vet finally made the decision, because he was basically having little strokes for the past two days, to let him rest. My mother called to let me know, and she was crying, but the vet couldn’t do much for him. He was only 3 years old. This is a very sad thing.

Aww… how sad! And he was only 3? Wow. 
(((Louise))) I’m so sorry.
It’s odd how we get so attached to an animal, but we all do it. I’m sure Simon is looking down from above and purring his little self to bits. When we have to resort to medications and so frequently, it is time to let them go and stop suffering, but gosh dang, it’s hard.
Once again… I’m sorry you lost a member of your family.
So sad. Please tell your parents I’m sorry. Such a pretty Siamese.
