First meme of the year!!!!

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Finished a sewing project.

2. Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Uhm… kinda. See my “New Years Resolutions” post.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope! My friends are pretty much all done procreatin’.

4. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Balance. Literally (I fall over alot) and figuratively (I feel as though life’s been like, feast or famine, really happy or really sad, all year).

5. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

I’m not going to hunt around for the exact dates, but:

January: My grandma died, and I got yelled for not letting know ahead of time that this was going to happen & I would be gone to the funeral.

February: Rob got sick and was in the ICU for a week. Again, I got yelled at for not letting know ahead of time he would be sick & I’d be at the hospital with him.

March April and May were fine.

June: Got a new job

July: Yay summer!

August: Met DJ — Yay!

Sept. Oct. Nov. — all fine.

December: Dead puppies, dead Judd Nelson.

6. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I think actually telling someone that no, I didn’t agree with what had been said, and here was my side of things (I can’t get into specifics here, sucks I know).

7. What was your biggest failure?

As always, the weight-loss thing.

8. What was the best thing you bought?
Doesn’t sound like much, but I’m really enjoying my sewing machine. Oh, and my new wig, although it’s not the one I’d wanted, it’s still okay.

9. Whose behavior merited celebration?

In the world? Or in people that I know? Because in the world I’d say it was that lady who yelled at Britney Spears… or that old dude who told Lindsey Lohan that if she didn’t stop partying all night then not coming to work he’d fine her. Or, you know, actual *real* people like Benazhir Bhutto but y’all know I never talk politics on here.

10. Whose behavior made you feel appalled and /or depressed?

Again, I don’t talk politics on here (if I did, I’d have a long list for you)

11. Where did most of your money go?

Rent, bills. You know. The usual.

12. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Erm. I got really really really excited about getting my newfangled fancy wig (but I didn’t get it). And I was even more excited about those two puppies (again… no). And I was super excited about our new sofa and loveseat– which we DID get, so yay!

13. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?

a. This time last year my grandma was dying, so I’d say right now I’m happier.
b. I’m pretty sure I’ve broken even on the weight front… which isn’t exactly a positive thing.
c. If only for the fact that I’m no longer driving 2 hrs. a day, I’m that much richer, theoretically.
